This is definitely a newer version of a study guide. Talks about more modern dentistry, which is good for when ur in the actual work field. Very limited on amalgam and matrix placing info.I went to take the state exam and the exam is still the older exam, hasn't been updated, it has many amalgam questions. A lot of the questions on the exam were not covered in the book. I suggest to buy a supplement book with more amalgam and matrix info.
I ordered this textbook the first time for school and I was shipped the workbook. Because of the mess up I missed a whole assignment and it ruined my grade in my class because I was unable to do any of the assignments. I was then told that the best that they could do is ship the textbook to me 3 days later after everything was already due for my class. This is utterly ridiculous. Make sure to check what the item is supposed to be before shipping it.
My daughter is on to a new chapter in her life, and while in school I wanted to give her some support. She said it was very helpful
I just got the book and the workbook and the ISBN number is different from the one it says it is!!! The first couple numbers are the same but the last ones are different. I’m not sure if it has different context in the book. Would be great if someone would let me know if it is different or not! My ISBN 978 - 0 - 323 - 43030 - 2 and my workbook is 43031 - 9
I used the previous edition in class so I knew what kind of content I was buying. I love the new additions to this book that the previous edition didn't have.
I am hoping this book is going to give my daughter a 4.0!!
