My 4-year-old daughter and I have enjoyed reading this book together. It is a little long and too detailed to read in one sitting with my 4-year-old, but I have found that she is able to understand the story and we have had a lot of great discussions inspired by this book. The illustrations are beautiful, the writing is engaging, the book is high quality and well worth the price. We also have the Charles Darwin and Frida Kahlo books and it is taking every ounce of self control that I have to not purchase the remaining books in this set. I certainly plan to add to our collection over time.
